Do I have to sign up?
No. Open the app, set your gender / age / height / activity, and start logging. Your data lives encrypted on your device. Backups are optional and password-protected.
Does Formivo track food or calories?
No — by design. Calorie counting is exhausting and noisy. We focus on body data: weight (smoothed with EWMA), measurements, photos, and the four computed metrics. For meds and water, we ship a separate app called DoseKit.
How accurate is the body-fat percentage?
We use two well-known methods — US Navy (waist, neck, hip for females) and Deurenberg (BMI, age, gender). Tap any metric to see the exact formula. Both are estimates — they trend reliably, but should never replace a medical assessment.
What's the difference between Free and Premium?
Free covers the core loop: weight + three measurements + 6 photos / month + one reminder. Premium unlocks all six measurement fields + custom, unlimited photos, side-by-side comparison, advanced ETA insights, multiple reminders, widgets, and ad-free.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Settings → Export → CSV or JSON, any date range. Everything stays portable.
Is dark mode supported?
Yes — System, Light, and Dark with a deep wine-tinted dark canvas.
